Campaigns

Acetylene cylinders

LFB is campaigning to ensure the safe use, signage and storage of acetylene gas cylinders, and a greater awareness of the dangers when the cylinders are involved in fires and other incidents.

Fire safer cigarettes

Fires caused by smokers’ materials are more likely than other domestic fires to cause death or serious injury. LFB is campaigning with other organisations to ensure that all cigarettes sold in the UK meet a fire safer cigarette standard.

Fireworks

We are dedicated to ensuring that fireworks are always stored, sold and used in a safe and responsible way. See how we are working with other agencies to cut misuse.

School sprinklers

LFB is working hard to make sure that London’s education chiefs and the general public are aware of new Government guidance on the installation of sprinklers in new schools and during major refurbishments.
