Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a garage alight at the rear of Review Road in Dagenham.
A single-storey garage was alight and two cars inside were destroyed by the blaze. Another car was also damaged and around 20 metres of fencing was destroyed. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade's 999 Control Officers took 24 calls to the blaze.
The Brigade was called at 1834 and the fire was under control by 1935. Fire crews from East Ham, Wennington and Ilford fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
