If staff or suppliers have a concern of a more serious nature e.g. a breach of Health & Safety law impacting the Brigade, the LFC has introduced a new way to report such serious wrongdoing through its updated whistleblowing policy.
The Confidential Reporting Policy PN569, otherwise known as the ‘whistleblowing policy’, has been updated to introduce an independent external reporting line called EthicsPoint.
Referrals can be made online or over the telephone (0808 281 5657). The new reporting method has been introduced to improve colleagues’ and suppliers trust and confidence in the way the LFC is operating, and allows individuals to speak out and report serious matters confidently and confidentially.
