Fiona joined the Brigade from Network Rail, where she led the corporate Transformation function developing robust working relationships with Government and industry to deliver ambitious and successful transformation.
Fiona’s career in Network Rail spanned 24 years, with experience ranging from operational delivery to leading multimillion-pound transformation programmes to improve Network Rail’s service, to serving as their Capacity Planning Director for 5 years (developing the national rail timetable). Fiona also served a term as a non-executive director of the board for Network Rail Consulting, the international consultancy arm of Network Rail.
Outside of her work as Director for Transformation, Fiona helps to support those most marginalised in society; as Chair of Ourmala, a charity that provides Yoga for refugees and asylum-seekers and as a Trustee for the Triangle Community Garden, which runs projects providing social therapeutic horticulture for adults with learning difficulties.
