Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters attended a fire at a hostel on Peckham Rye in East Dulwich, this morning.
The fire affected a hostel of three floors and part of the ground floor was damaged by fire.
Fortunately there were no injuries.
Firefighters from Deptford, Peckham, New Cross and Old Kent Road fire stations were at the scene.
The Brigade was called at 0751 and the fire was under control at 0832. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
