Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers tackled a fire at a derelict block of flats on Corbet Close in Wallington this evening.
The fire affected a six roomed flat on the second floor, part of which was damaged by fire.
There were no injuries.
Firefighters from Purley, Wallington, Croydon and Mitcham fire stations attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 1952 and the fire was under control at 2030. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
