Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers attended a fire at a house on Haig Road in Uxbridge this evening.
The fire affected a semi-detached house. Most of the first floor and loft space in the roof was damaged in the blaze.
There were no reports of any injuries.
Fire engines from Hillingdon, Hayes, Heathrow, Southall and Northolt fire stations were at the scene.
The Brigade was called at 1516 and the fire was under control at 1752.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
