Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers tackled a maisonette blaze on Bollo Bridge Road in Acton this morning.
When fire crews arrived they were faced with an intense fire coming out of a maisonette on the fifth and sixth floors. The whole of the maisonette was badly damaged by the blaze. Thankfully two men and one women evacuated the affected maisonette before firefighters arrived. They were all uninjured.
The Brigade was called at 0934 and the fire was under control by 1205. Firefighters from Acton, Chiswick, Ealing, Hammersmith and Park Royal fire stations. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
