Firefighters rescued a man from a house fire on Aspen Close in Ealing, early this morning.
The man was rescued from the first floor using a short extension ladder and he was treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service for smoke inhalation.
Part of the kitchen on the ground floor of the property was damaged by fire.
Two fire engines from Acton and Ealing fire stations and a fire rescue unit from Heston fire station attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 0519 and the fire was under control at 0559. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
