Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a rubbish fire on Layhams Road in West Wickham yesterday afternoon.
The fire destroyed around 20 tonnes of refuse in a pit.
The Brigade was called at 1557 and the fire was under control at 1858. Crews from Addington, Woodside and Beckenham fire stations attended the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
