A fire engine from Poplar fire station has been involved in a road traffic collision on Churchill Place in Canary Wharf.
Two firefighters have been taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews. Another firefighter was treated at the scene.
The fire engine was going to reports of a fire on Churchill Place. A fire engine from Shadwell fire station attended the incident which was a false alarm.
No other vehicles were involved. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
