A man escaped a fire at a workshop on Wood End Gardens in Northolt this afternoon.
The man escaped from the single storey building before the arrival of the Brigade, but suffered minor burns and smoke inhalation.
The entire workshop was damaged by fire and the blaze also affected three propane cylinders that crews cooled down. A 25 metre exclusion zone was set up as a precaution because some cylinders can explode when exposed to heat.
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers attended the incident Wembley and Northolt fire stations attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 1544 and the fire was under control at 1745. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
