Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers attended a fire at a house on Rommany Road in West Norwood this evening.
Fortunately no-one was injured but the fire left a quarter of the first floor damaged by fire.
Firefighters from West Norwood, Forest Hill and Norbury fire stations attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 1702 and the fire was brought under control at 1755. The cause of the fire is under investigator.
