Two men and a woman evacuated from a fire at a pub on St Thomas Street in Southwark, in the early hours of this morning.
The group left the premises before the arrival of the Brigade and fortunately were uninjured.
The fire was in the basement of the pub, part of which was left damaged by the blaze.
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters from Dowgate, Dockhead, Whitechapel and Shoreditch fire station attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 0417 and the fire was under control at 0529. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
