Three people evacuated from a house fire on Balfour Road in Hounslow, this afternoon.
The three occupants left the property before the arrival of the Brigade, one woman was treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service.
The fire involved a tumble dryer and a lean-to construction at the rear of the property, both of which were damaged in the blaze.
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers from Southall and Heston fire stations attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 1322 and the fire was under control at 1413. The fire is believed to have been caused by a failure in the tumble dryer’s circuit board.
