Three men and two women escaped a house fire on Lordsmead Road in Tottenham, this afternoon.
The occupants left the property before the arrival of the Brigade. Two of the men were treated for smoke inhalation at the scene by the London Ambulance Service.
A small part of the property’s roof and a small area of the roof of the adjoining property were damaged by fire.
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters from Hornsey, Edmonton, Stoke Newington and Walthamstow fire stations attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 1508 and the fire was under control at 1643. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
