Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus rescued a man from a house fire on Iveagh Avenue in Park Royal this evening.
The man was rescued from a first floor window via a nine metre ladder and was treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service for smoke inhalation.
Part of the first floor of the property was damaged by fire.
Two fire engines from Park Royal and Wembley fire stations attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 1733 and the fire was under control at 1826. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
