Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a fire affecting two terraced homes on Ravenscourt Road in St Paul’s Cray, Orpington this afternoon.
A garden fence and a small part of two end of terraced properties were damaged in the fire. The occupants of both houses left before the Brigade arrived.
The Brigade was called at 1357 and the fire was under control by 1419. Crews from Orpington and Sidcup fire stations attended the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
