Four fire engines and 21 firefighters tackled a house fire on Berkeley Road in Kingsbury.
Half of the first floor and half of the roof was damaged by the blaze. A man left the building before the Brigade arrived. He was suffering from smoke inhalation and was treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 1203 and the fire was under control by 1323. The cause of the fire is not yet known at this stage.
