A woman escaped a fire at a house on Crowhurst Way in Saint Mary Cray, Orpington, early this evening.
She escaped the property before the arrival of the Brigade and was treated at the scene for minor injuries by firefighters.
The fire affected a terraced house of two floors and half of the first floor was damaged by fire
Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters from Plumstead, Bromley and Orpington fire stations attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 1731 and the fire was under control at 1832. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
