Firefighters were called to deal with a passenger boat fire in Greenwich close to Cutty Sark Gardens, SE10, this afternoon.
A small section of the boat’s engine room was damaged by fire.
Three fire engines from Greenwich, East Greenwich and Lewisham fire stations, as well as the Brigade’s fire boat dealt with the incident. Around 20 firefighters and officers were at the scene.
The Brigade was called at 1217 and the fire was under control by 1310.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
