A fire broke out this morning on St Stephen's Road in Bow, E3.
The fire started in a garden shed and spread to a row of three terraced houses. The shed was completely destroyed, with one house being badly damaged by fire and the roofs of the two neighbouring properties also being partly damaged by flames.
Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters and officers from Bethnal Green, Homerton and Whitechapel fire stations were at the scene.
The Brigade was called at 0836 and the fire was out by 1014.
A fire investigation unit is at the scene to determine the cause of the blaze.
