Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers dealt with a restaurant fire on Twickenham Road in Isleworth last night.
The alarm was raised by a member of staff who noticed smoke coming from the cellar door and rang the Brigade.
Fire crews contained the fire to the basement and the caused is believed to be an electrical fault.
Five members of staff evacuated the building before the Brigade arrived and there were no injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1612 and the fire was under control by 1703. Fire crews from Heston, Richmond, Twickenham and Chiswick fire stations attended the scene.
