Twelve people escaped from a fire at flats above a shop on Neasden Lane North in Neasden, this evening.
The occupants left before the arrival of the Brigade and fortunately no-one was injured.
Part of the first floor was damaged by fire.
Four fire engines from Willesden, Wembley and Park Royal fire stations attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 1830 and the fire was under control at 1944. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
