A woman rescued from a fire in a garage on Bowrons Avenue in Wembley during the early hours of Thursday morning (14 January) has sadly died in hospital.
Firefighters rescued the woman from the fire in a garage to the rear of her house in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The woman who was unconscious, was rescued by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service before being taken to hospital where she later died on Thursday evening
Part of the single storey garage was damaged by the fire. Two fire engines from Wembley fire station attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 0053 and the fire was under control at 0222. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
