Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to tackle a fire at a hairdressers in Albany Parade, in High Street, Brentford.
Part of the ground floor of the hair salon was damaged by fire.
Three people were led to safety from first and second floor flats by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus. Six people left the hairdressers before the arrival of the Brigade.
The Brigade was called at 1342 and the fire was under control at 1517. Fire crews from Heston, Acton and Ealing fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
