Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers were called to a flat fire on Pratt Street in Camden NW1 on Friday evening.
The fire badly damaged part of a three roomed flat on the second floor of the six storey block.
One woman was led to safety by crews wearing breathing apparatus and another woman left the block before the Brigade arrived. Both were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation by London Ambulance Service.
The Brigade was called at 2140 and the fire was under control by 2326. Crews from Kentish Town, Euston, Soho and Paddington fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation
