Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers dealt with a house fire on Tamworth Street in Fulham this morning.
The ground floor of a two storey house was badly damaged by the blaze.
An elderly woman left the property before the arrival of the Brigade, and was assessed on scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
The Brigade was called at 1053 and the fire was under control by 1147. Fire crews from Fulham, Chelsea, Kensington and Battersea fire stations attended the scene.
