Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire in a shop with flats above on Holloway Road in the early hours of this morning.
Most of the first floor was damaged by fire. Five residents left the flats before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 0507 and the fire was under control by 0751. Fire crews from Holloway, Kentish Town and Islington fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
