Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers were called to a fire in the basement of a house in The Boltons, South Kensington this afternoon.
A small part of the basement was damaged by fire.
Six adults and two children left the property before the Brigade arrived. There are no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1239 and the fire was under control by 1432. Crews from Fulham, Battersea, Wandsworth and Clapham fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
