Firefighters helped tow a tour boat to safety this afternoon after it became stuck on mud close to Vauxhall Bridge.
The vessel, which was carrying 28 passengers and two staff members, was towed to safety at St Georges Wharf Pier by the Brigade’s fire boat.
All passengers and staff left the vessel safely and there were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1430 and the incident was over at 1523. Crews from Lambeth River, Lambeth, Clapham, Soho, Battersea and Lewisham fire stations attended the scene.
