A fire engine from Tooting fire station was involved in a collision with a double decker bus on Brixton Hill with the junction of Acre Lane this evening at 1823.
Nobody was trapped but one firefighter sustained an injury to his leg and was taken to hospital.
The engine was en route to a fire at a restaurant in Cold Harbour Lane. This incident was resolved by the Brigade and no further engines were required.
The cause of the crash is now under investigation.
