Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers were called to a house fire on Volta Close in Edmonton this morning. The whole of the conservatory and shed was gutted by the blaze. As well as, half of the first floor and part of the ground.
The fire badly damaged the roof and spread to two neighbouring properties, causing damage on all three floors.
Three adults and a child left the affected property before the Brigade arrived. Four adults and three children left the neighbouring properties. Thankfully there were no injuries.
The Brigade was called at 0926 and the fire was under control by 1045. Firefighters from Edmonton, Tottenham, Enfield and Chingford fire stations. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
