Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a house fire on Fairdale Gardens in Hayes early this morning.
The first floor of a two storey house was severely damaged by the blaze, and the roof was entirely destroyed. Thankfully there were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 0415 and the fire was under control by 0603. Fire crews from Hayes, Southall and Hillingdon fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation by London Fire Brigade officers and the police.
