Firefighters were called to a fire and suspected explosion at a basement flat on Holmesdale Road in Selhurst this morning.
The explosion is believed to have happened in the kitchen and caused widespread damage throughout. Two other flats were also damaged.
A man suffered from minor burns and was treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 1134 and the incident was over by 1155. Fire crews from Woodside, Beckenham and Croydon fire stations were at the scene.
