Around 60 firefighters and officers dealt with a fire at an apartment block under construction on New Heston Road, Hounslow in the early hours of this morning.
Around half of the top floor and roof of the four storey building was alight. There were no reports of any injuries.
8 fire engines and an aerial ladder platform were at the scene from fire stations including Heston, Southall, Feltham and Ealing fire stations.
The Brigade was called at 0109 and the fire was under control at 0420 but firefighters are expected to be at the scene for some time damping down.
The cause of the fire is under investigation
