Firefighters and officers were called to a road traffic collision on the M4, near junction 4 east bound on yesterday afternoon. Two cars were in collision and one man was trapped. Crews used specialist cutting equipment to free the trapped man and he was removed to hospital by London Air Ambulance.
One fire engine from Feltham, Hayes, Richmond, Heathrow and Heston's fire rescue unit attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 1212 and the incident was over for firefighters at 1330.
