Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a derelict pub in Bridgwater Road, Romford last night
Part of the first floor of the pub was damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1726 and the fire was under control at 1815.
Firefighters were later called to a separate fire in a different area of the same building at 2200. Another area on the first floor was damaged by fire and the blaze was under control at 2247.
Fire crews from Harold Hill, Romford, Hornchurch and Dagenham fire stations attended the two fires.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
