Around 25 firefighters were called to a block of flats on Windmill Walk in Waterloo SE1 this morning after two concrete balconies on the third and second floors of the building collapsed.
Crews evacuated around 30 people from flats within the block and set up a safety cordon as a precaution. Thankfully there were no injuries
The Brigade was called at 0932 and the incident was over for firefighters at 1309. Two fire engines from Clapham and Dowgate fire stations were at the scene along with three fire rescue units.
