Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire on Hounslow Heath this afternoon
A small part of a single storey derelict garden centre was damaged by fire.
A 100m hazard zone was put in place as a precaution while crews cooled a cylinder which was involved in the fire as some cylinders can explode if exposed to heat.
Fire crews from Feltham and Tooting fire station, along with a fire engine from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service, attended the scene.
The Brigade was called at 1509 and the incident was over by 1808. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
