Eight fire engines and 58 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a waste refuse site in Abbey Road in Park Royal.
An external mixed refuse storage area containing approximately 150 tonnes of waste was damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1457 and the fire was under control at 1840. Fire crews from Park Royal, Wembley, Willesden, North Kensington, Acton and Ealing fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
