Three fire engines and 14 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a pub on Horseferry Road in Westminster this morning.
The Brigade received five 999 calls alerting them to the fire, one person left the premises before the fire crews arrived.
Firefighters worked quickly to contain the fire in the kitchen on the first floor and stopped it spreading to other parts of the building.
The Brigade was called at 0930 and the incident was over by 1042. Fire crews from Lambeth and Chelsea fire stations attended.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
