Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a yard containing scrap cars in Park Avenue, Edmonton.
Nine cars were completely damaged by fire and part of a workshop front was also damaged in the blaze.
The Brigade was called at 0106 and the fire was under control at 0248. Fire crews from Edmonton and Tottenham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire was accidental and believed to have been caused by a lit brazier being left unattended.
