Firefighters helped free two young adults after their car overturned on Lingfield Crescent in Eltham this afternoon.
The car was stabilised and fire crews used cutting equipment to release a man and a woman from the vehicle that had hit street furniture and overturned. They were both treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The draft London Safety Plan out for consultation at the moment proposes a review of how best to use its current fleet of 14 fire rescue units (FRUs) that attend a wide-range of incidents including road traffic collisions, flooding and chemical call outs.
The Brigade was called at 1318 and the incident was over for us at 1403. Firefighters from Sidcup and Bexley fire stations were at the scene.
