Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a hotel on Sumner Place in Chelsea this morning.
A small part of a utility room on the lower ground floor was damaged by fire with smoke logging throughout the five floored building.
80 people evacuated the property before the Brigade arrived and there are no reported injuries.
The Brigade was called at 0800 and the incident was over by 0953. Fire crews from Chelsea, Fulham, Hammersmith, Soho, Lambeth and Kensington fire stations attended.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
