Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire in a maisonette on Rectory Park Avenue in Northolt this afternoon.
A bin room on the ground floor of the four storey block was gutted by fire. A small part of three maisonettes on the first and second floors were also damaged by the blaze.
The Brigade was called at 1610 and the incident was under control by 1718. Crews from Southall, Wembley and Ealing fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
