Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers were called to a fire in shops and flats on Walthamstow High Street on Wednesday night (14 June).
The fire damaged the ground floor shop, as well as flats on the first and second floors of one building, and the first and second floors of a neighbouring premises.
The Brigade was called at 2321 and the fire was under control by 0150. Crews from Walthamstow, Woodford, Tottenham, Leyton, Leytonstone and Homerton fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
