Firefighters were called to reports of a man in the water between Lambeth Brigade and Westminster Bridge.
The Brigade’s fire boat alongside the police and RNLI carried out an extensive search but of water no sign of the man could be found.
The Brigade was called at 1137 and the incident was over for us at 1256.
In a separate incident emergency service crews rescued a woman from the River Thames and is being treated by the London Ambulance Service.
