Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers dealt with a flat fire on London Road in Norbury last night.
Part of a third floor flat was damaged by the blaze.
A woman left the property before the Brigade arrived and was assessed by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 1829 and the fire was under control by 1913. Fire crews from Norbury, West Norwood, Croydon and Tooting fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
