Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a carpentry workshop on Standard Road in Park Royal this afternoon.
Half of the ducting – the building’s extraction system – from the ground floor to the roof of the single storey unit was damaged by the fire.
The Brigade was called at 1502 and the incident was over for us by 1602. Fire crews from Park Royal, Hammersmith, North Kensington and Wembley fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
